Web Browsing in the Morning

What I learned today while browsing the web:
  • Twitter offers a plethora of information about everything and nothing. I perused what's coming out about Iran elections (#iranelection), what rabbis do (#whatrabbisdo), and found some new people to follow.
  • Rami Shapiro's 23b project offers a series of poignant billboard advertisements for Judaism. My favorites: God: It’s all and nothing. - My Spouse is Jewish, I’m Not. How Do We Raise the Kids? Honestly. - Matzoh Makes Me Constipated. It can also set you free. Worth returning to when I return from Sabbatical!
  • Rami Shapiro also offers The Eleven Irreducible Laws of Rabbinic Leadership. Thought-provoking and profound. I am drawn to #10: The Law of Yesod/The Inner Minyan: According to the Law of Keter, you lead only those people whose leadership abilities are less than your own. The Law of Yesod says you cannot grow as a leader unless you surround yourself with people whose leadership abilities are greater than your own.
